. This meaning does not imply sin, it just means by being raped, the woman would find herself in harm and trouble by the people, and therefore she would be guarded by Allah from trouble by the people over this incident.
Exactly šŸ‘

and the word used is ā€œGhafraā€ Ų§Ų°Ł‡ŲØŁŠ فقد غفر الله Ł„Łƒ

This ā€œrapeā€ issue with islam requiring 4 witness to ā€œwitnessā€ the rape is pathetic on all levels.

When you do take off, stay in touch!

Lov-ya and all my best

4 witnesses are required only when someone charges an innocent women of committing adultery. It is meant to deter false accusations against innocent women.

This rule does not apply to rape as Hadi pointed out.

That Islamic site with the article on rape was rather interesting I must say. we didn’t go anywhere we areright here:D
What I find most intriguing though is that I can find the most common Arabic phrases used by Muslims on all these Islamic web sites but I cannot find any audio to go with them so here’s another to Muslims question.
You are required to say the prayers in Arabic but my question is how is it possible to learn Arabic properly if they do not include sound on Islamic web sites? Can the Muslims here please explain this?

excuse me but Catholics answer questions for you guys and Islam is not my religion and it is much easier for you to navigate the web sites because you are a Muslim. Your answer is sort of rude that’s like me expecting you to know Turkish when you don’t speak it. My Turkish friends would never answer a question like this. never mind I will ask my Turkish friends.

I’m only speculating here since I’m not familiar with this incident and it’s the first time I’ve seen the hadith. I presume the word translated as ā€œforgivenā€ is the arabic root ā€œGhafaraā€ which is commonly translated as forgiven. The word Ghafara also means to watch over someone, or to cover something. This meaning does not imply sin, it just means by being raped, the woman would find herself in harm and trouble by the people, and therefore she would be guarded by Allah from trouble by the people over this incident.
I don’t quite understand what you mean here. Could you please explain more? I don’t understand why the woman would find herself in harm and trouble by the people. Doesn’t the people understand that she was a victim and not at fault? Why would the people give her any kind of trouble over this incident?

It means that the actual arabic meaning is different to the translation as he said-just re-read his post. I thought he explained it quite well šŸ‘

Yes, I understand about the translation. But I don’t understand why Allah would have to protect a rape victim from harm or trouble from the people as was mentioned. Why would the people harm or cause trouble to a rape victim?

unfortunately right or wrong some countries interpret Islamic law as if a woman is raped it is her fault for putting herself in that position. For instance in Saudi Arabia a woman is not permitted to leave the house without a male family member or written permission from him. Let’s say a woman in Saudi Arabia leaves the house without permission from her father and she is raped they would blame the rapist but they would also blame the woman since she left the house without permission. They would argue that it was her fault because if she hadn’t left the house without permission it would not have happened.

Yes. Therefore, Islamic law is unfair to the woman. Regardless of whether she left the house with or without permission, a man still has no right to rape her. A man should never take advantage of woman simply because he finds the opportunity to find her alone. If the Islamic law finds fault in the woman for being raped because she left the house without permission, then this same law is also guilty of treating women unequal as human beings and in dignity to begin with.
