Reminds of a bumper sticker I had on my car when I was high school: Jesus loves you, everyone else thinks you are an bad word. The funny thing is that my MOM bought it for me!

She said: ā€œdonā€™t repeat the word, but this is how I feel about most religious peopleā€. I displayed it until I became Catholic and my parish priest noticed it.

Itā€™s not that youā€™re blind; only that youā€™ve read just one post.
 
I understand the OPā€™s point, but if someone CHOOSES to present the community his/her situation, I see no reason why he/she shouldnā€™t listen to them. Itā€™s not like we force people do take our advice. There is no harm in hearing our opinions of their situation.
