To what was Jesus referring to by the term “this temple” in Jn 2:18-19? In Jn 2:21 John clearly states that when Jesus used the term “this temple”, he was referring to his body. If what the WTS teaches about Jesus’ body after his death is correct, then how do you explain these verses?bible verse are from NWT

Good point Bill but I doubt that any JWs will respond as I haven’t seen any around in a while. Probably from their teaching not to have anything to do with the world.

I’m unsure of the teaching you are contesting.
Are you saying that Jesus body resurrected was the same fleshly one that died?

A couple of points to consider would be:
1 Peter 3:18 says . …”he being put to death in flesh, but being made alive in spirit.”
And remember Mary didn’t recognise him when resurrected. She thought he was the gardener. A couple of his disciples walked with him for half the day and didn’t recognise him. Plus he appeared in a room that had all the doors locked.

How do these all agree with John 2:19, 21 do you think?

Jesus’ Resurrected body was Glorified, that means it was His actual body but endowed with great graces enabling it to never be able to suffer or be subject to earthly limits ever again.
Romans 8: 11And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you.

Acts 2: 26Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices;
