Today I felt so grateful to be a catholic

I went to a neighboring chapel for mass, because of time issues

I saw a few of my regular parishioners there. I just felt such a part of community ,even though it wasn’t my parish…I have always loved my faith, but today I felt it was really a special gift to be catholic

It must have been the Holy Spirit…

How great! I think that one of my favorite ‘things’ about being Catholic, is that anywhere in the world, on holy days of obligation, mass days, etc…we are celebrating ‘together.’ There is only geography separating us all–the readings are the same…the homily and parish personality might be different from coast to coast–but…the aura of a devout Catholic can be felt whether in one’s own parish, or while visiting another. It’s simply awesome. So happy for you!🙂
 
It’s wonderful that you received this sense of community that unites the Church. When I was in the U.S and went to Masses in Phoenix and Flagstaff, I felt the same sense of community as at home in Australia. I found that very moving also. Bles you, Trishie

It’s the most salvific part of my life. I too feel blessed to be Catholic.👍
 
Yep, when I go to different Churches where I live for Mass and see people from my parish it is such a great feeling. I say it often and feel it " I am so glad that I am A Catholic, I love the church"
 
I’m glad I’m Catholic too! 😉 My spiritual life reached an all time high when I converted and continues to grow!
 
I went to Mass at my parish today, and it felt great. Great to be home, despite the allergies.
