Today Is The Day Of My Divorce

Today is the day of my divorce. My job gave me the day off, which was surprising as I only asked to work half a shift, so that was nice of them. I really wasn’t expecting that at all. My mom wants to take me to Olive Garden afterwards.

It’s going to be an emotional day for me, that’s for sure. Please pray that I do not allow those emotions to get the best of me in some way.

praying for you. as a divorced person myself it is a day of mixed emotions. you will have to give yourself a chance to grieve the end of your marriage, but I pray for better days ahead.

It is done. Took all of 10 minutes and we were divorced.

She let me know that she has a date tomorrow night, so it seems she is already moving on.
