Today is the feast day of St. Isidore, the patron saint of the internet.

Let us pray for all those who struggle with internet pornography addiction. A very real and present danger, I’m sure this is item number one on the good saint’s agenda. This is a destroyer of marriages, destroyer of virtue and grace, and blinds a person to the dignity of the human person.

Let us pray,

Almighty and eternal God, who created us in Thine image and bade us to seek after all that is good, true and beautiful, especially in the divine person of Thine Only-begotten Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, grant, we beseech Thee, that, through the intercession of Saint Isidore, Bishop and Doctor, during our journeys through the internet we will direct our hands and eyes only to that which is pleasing to Thee and treat with charity and patience all those souls whom we encounter. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Lord, help all those who suffer from addictions to pornography to grow in love and respect the dignity of all people. Make the internet a tool for good that reflects your glory and a place to grow and learn.

This is a important prayer as someone who has been internet pornography and still struggle with this vice. I can tell it is hard habit to break so internet porn addicts and porn stars need our help, support and prayers.

Pornography is a very real and serious evil. Many struggle with this and no one who does should think of themselves alone! Thank you for your kind words of support and your prayers! I will offer prayers for you! 🙂
