Well after more then a year of being away from the Church later today, I return to the Church … Confession this afternoon and Mass tomorrow morning … Looking forward to taking this journey 😉

God bless you!
May you find peace in the loving embrace of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Welcome home! We missed you! May you receive the fullness of the grace the Lord bestows upon His people in His Church.

If you don’t mind, Im always curious about what drew people away and brought them back?
If you rather not, understood!

In any event, I pray we are all at home for good!

Welcome home. May God’s grace and the guidance of the Holy Spirit be with you through the Sacraments!! God bless!!

Graces are pouring over the Church! From one revert to another, welcome back! God bless!

WELCOME HOME.

Welcome home. I was where you are but I was away from the Church for over 10 years. If you want to share the reason for your return I’m thinking there might be people (at least one person) who would enjoy reading it.

Welcome home. God bless you.

Thank you all for your kinds words

I had fallen away from the church for the better part of ten years, over that ten years I started to become a person I really didn’t like , My relationship with my youngest step daughter is pretty much not even called a relationship she has no real moral compass in her life (By that I mean she has no respect for anyone, she has no problems with lying to get people in trouble and loves to manipulate others) So I decided the time had come it was time that in order for me to put an action plan in motion it has to start with me and for me that meant getting back to my faith … Today while doing the Penance that was asked of me yesterday during confession I actually had an emotional moment, to be honest a few tears where shed but these where in no way sad tears I know it might be hard to understand but that’s how I felt …

And it’s already born fruit my wife who has never been a church goer of any church has decided that she wants to come to Mass again with me , she went to a Christmas Eve Mass with me once but was put off by the gossip that other members where taking part in after the service… In any event she is again willing to come with me and to see what the Catholic Church is all about

Again thanks all

Trust me…everyone understands the tears.
God bless you and your dear wife. Praying for the situation with the step-daughter. I think most everyone has been there in some way, shape or form.
