Went last evening, for my Archdiocese it’s a Holy Day of Obigation. But, not for all dioceses. If one choses to go to Mass or not; that’s between them & God.
No matter what, we should show are love to God ,who created us in his Image, but if they don,t go than, they have to answer too Jesus at the end off there life. AMEN

Here in England the Church celebrates the ascension on Sunday.

Yes, indeed. My point (what I mean by “Who’s counting?”) is that it is not your place or mine to count how many go to Mass, apart from ourselves.

Perhaps we could examine the church-going habits of close relatives whom we have influence over. The pastor or bishop might examine Mass attendance in order to assess the need for evangelization and outreach (searching for lost sheep).

Of course we should be concerned about our neighbors. We certainly may pray for them. We might evangelize, if we are able, but only if we can do it with charity, avoiding rash judgement and pride. I just don’t see the need for judging my neighbor’s attendance at church.
I don,t judge other,s, but, we should show love to Jesus ,buy coming too church, that’s all I,am saying, I hope you now understand what I,am trying too say. God Bless.
