hmmmm God works in mYsTeRiOuS ways
I was serious asking the question. Normally, it is the joyful on Saturday and Glorious on Sunday; but during the Lent, Sorrowful mysteries are used on Sunday.

I am not sure if there is any different on Saturday after the Holy Friday.

Well now i’m wondering too, water? I wonder if it would be the sorrowful mysteries still?

I think it would be the sorrowful mysteries until Easter Sunday.

Sorrowful Mysteries “… daily from Ash Wednesday until Easter Sunday”. Learn something new every day. Previously, I thought only Sundays are days where there is a change (ordinary time, lent, or Christmas Season).

See vatican.va/holy_father/john_paul_ii/apost_letters/documents/hf_jp-ii_apl_20021016_rosarium-virginis-mariae_en.html
for the Apostolic Letter of Pope John Paul II on the Rosary. And sometime read its entirety if you are serious about the Rosary. Section 38 concerns the days. While inserting the luminous mysteries, Pope John Paul II suggested moving the Joyful mysteries to Saturday.

Actually, we are free to pray the Rosary as we like. Some people pray more than one set of mysteries a day (I do sometimes). Praying more than one set can throw things off somewhat such that the schedule is not applicable. Rather than having too much concern over the “right mysteries” Pope John Paul II wrote “What is really important is that the Rosary should always be seen and experienced as a path of contemplation.”

Another good internet link regarding the Rosary is pacifier.com/~rosarweb/howto.htm

Boy, I’m glad I’m not the only one with this question! I went ahead with the sorrowful, thinking they were the most appropriate for today, but I wasn’t sure!
