Tom was a security guard in our building. He was in his late 70’s having ran the race of life well, choosing to do security in retirement.

He finished the race by bringing smiles to every person coming in and out of this 34 story building. He’s -]been here/-] was here (still odd) for at least 10 years.

Everyone knew Tom and looked forward to his smile and words as that final act from the work place before heading to the car every day.

Monday we heard he had a stroke last Thursday, and passed on Sunday.

Please pray that he can go stand guard and bring joy to all who enter the great place of everlasting Joy.

May his soul, and the souls of all other faithful departed, rest in peace.

I will be saying a Rosary later today for all the prayer intentions I have tagged on CAF today. I will add the repose of Tom’s soul and consolation for his family and friends to the list. May God take Tom swiftly home and comfort his family and friends, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
