Hi guys, I’ve put together a retreat for my girl’s club. It’s going to be all day tomorrow, and I"m really excited. I’ve put together a great day of activities and talks and prayer, and I have 15 (at most) girls coming! The only problem - I’m kind of terrified. Two girls were last-minute invitations, and I like to think it was Holy Spirit inspired, but maybe I just jumped the gun. Anyway, now my team counts are odd numbered, which isn’t necessarily fair, but there’s also two more girls than I planned for. Lastly, I don’t actually know some of the girls, as “my” girls were allowed to invite friends who may be interested in joining our club.

Anyway, I’m just praying that all the girls will be fully on-board with the activities (like the skits) and talks and stuff, and that everyone will be safe, have a good time, and learn at least SOMETHING about God. They’re all Christian, nearly entirely Catholic, so I have high hopes - but I’m still worried. Please pray for all of us, that I can be a good teacher and guide, and that they can have a great, holy time! Thank you! God Bless!

Prayers going out. It sounds like y’all will have a great time!

Prayers said and God bless you abundantly for so joyfully doing His work. Don’t worry–the Holy Spirit will guide you and whoever is there is meant to be there. What a blessing you are to the young people!

***Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death
Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Praying for your retreat!

O most beautiful Flower of Mount Carmel, Fruitful Vine, Splendor of Heaven, who brought forth the Son of God still remaining a Virgin, assist us in this necessity.
O Star of the Sea, help us, and show us that you are our Mother.

O Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and earth, we humbly ask you from the depths of our heart to help us in this necessity. There are none who can withstand your power.
O show us that you are our Mother.

O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. Sweet Mother, we place this cause in your hands. Amen.

Remember,
O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that any one who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help or sought thy intercession,
was left unaided.
Inspired with this confidence,
I fly unto thee,
O Virgin of virgins my Mother;
to thee do I come,
before thee I stand,
sinful and sorrowful;
O Mother of thy Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions,
but in thy clemency hear and answer me.
Amen

Hello again guys! The retreat was a massive and majorly blessed success! Everyone had a great time and was great to one another - we even had one little girl with Downs Syndrome who had a great time (apparently she loves accordions, so that helped!) too! I couldn’t have done it without all your prayers and God’s grace. I’m certain the Holy Spirit touched all of us that day! THANK YOU! God bless you all!!
