Tonight’s movie on Svengoolie is the 1936 The Invisible Ra
y, with Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi. Someone has the touch of death, which is bad, and the antidote must be found, which would be good. Frances Drake, not the explorer, is the hottie. I’m guessing.

Svengoolie is on MeTV every Saturday night at 10 p.m. Eastern, right after Star Trek (tonight’s episode: The Tholian Web). An old sci-fi or horror flick, interspersed with silly jokes and skits and trivia, make for an evening of clean fun.

Last night I saw 2 good movies - The Tingler with Vincent Price and the original War of the Worlds with Gene Barry.

Tonight’s show has a good cast.

TCM had a series of time travel films on Thursday including The Time Machine and one of the Peter Cushing Dr. Who movies.

I’ve never seen The Tingler. Vincent is always good.

Love time travel fiction! Especially The Time Machine!

Svengoolie is almost on. Our reception is getting goofy… Hope I get to watch…

Boris Karloff is listed in the cast as simply “Karloff”, in larger letters than Bela Lugosi.
