Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

May you be inspired to prayfully read the four Gospels of Jesus Christ
may his WORD speak to you
may you come to believe that Jesus Loves YOU. amen

Psalm 51
Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love;
According to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.

For I know my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me.
Against you, you alone, have I sinned, and done what is evil in your sight,
So that you are justified in your sentence and blameless when you pass judgement.
Indeed, I was born guilty, a sinner when my mother conceived me.

You desire truth in the inward being; therefore teach me wisdom in my secret heart.
Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me and I shall be whiter than snow.
Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones you have crushed rejoice.
Hide your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities.

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and put a new and right spirit within me.
Do not cast me away from your presence, and do not take your holy spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and sustain in me a willing heart.

Amen

I sent you an article about Catholic teaching on the Mark of the Beast. I think you’ll be comforted. Check your PMs.

Will be praying for your intentions at Mass & the Rosary this morning.

In times of need for solace, I have found reflecting on the Divine Mercy of Jesus to be reassuring. It always provided the encouragement I needed to seek God’s healing in the sacrament of Confession/Reconciliation.

A couple of snippets from The Divine Mercy Library
"Be not afraid of your Savior, O sinful soul. I make the first move to come to you, for I know that by yourself you are unable to lift yourself to me."
Over and over again, Christ Jesus reassured St. Faustina of His infinite trustworthiness. At various times, He spoke to her words such as these:
**“I am Love and Mercy itself… Let no soul fear to draw near to Me, even though its sins be as scarlet… My mercy is greater than your sins and those of the entire world… I let my Sacred Heart be pierced with a lance, thus opening wide the source of mercy for you. Come then with trust to draw graces from this fountain. I never reject a contrite heart… Sooner would heaven and earth turn into nothingness than would My mercy not embrace a trusting soul…”
**
Hail, Mary
Full of grace.
The Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women,
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners now,
And at the hour of our death.

AMEN

Just go to the priest in Confession. Tell him you have been away for awhile and that you are scared and nervous. He will gently guide you. Just do it.

“my sins are more than the hairs of my head” Ps 40:12
You see, David was a Prophet, he predicted that the
Christ would suffer an overwhelming wave of sin to
bear, so too, He can help you deal w/ ALL your sins,
b/c he KNOWS that even tho ALL the sins of the
WORLD CANNOT block one’s way back to God,
He is interceding for you RIGHT NOW at the Father’s
own right hand!! See 1 John 2:1-2

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and
the treasury of compassion inexhaustible,
look kindly upon us, and increase your mercy
in us, that in the difficult times we will not
despair, nor become despondent but w/ great
confidence submit to Your Holy Will, which
is Love and Mercy itself.
Amen.

Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood,
Soul and Divinity of Your only begotten Son,
the Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our
sins and the sins of the whole world.
Amen.

1 John 1:8-9 “If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness”

You say you have sinned - that’s step one. Step two - confess - start right now where ever you are, talk to God. Soon as you can, make your way to your local priest.

Praying for you.

You have been given good advice as well as prayers.

Make an appointment to see a priest. Just like we make doctor’s appointments for our physical health we need confession for our spiritual health.

Scared I have the mark of the beast as i know we are in revelations

Scared I have the mark of the beast as i know we are in revelations
Sorry, but no. Every generation thinks they are the end-all and be-all of the earth. The odds of our being in the end times is slim at best. And since the beast is not here yet, there’s no way you could have his mark.

For probably the 100th time on these forums, be advised to make an appointment with a Catholic priest – to discuss your concerns and make a good confession. He will welcome you, help you make a good confession, and calm your fears.

Still praying for you, for your spiritual and mental health. :signofcross:

Scared I have the mark of the beast as i know we are in revelations
There no conclusive evidence that we are at the end of time.

Regardless, even if you did have “the mark of the beast,” you now recognize the sinful things you’ve done and are seeking to make amends. Literally, the only thing you need to do now is go to confession and confess your sins (with a firm desire to amend your sinful behavior).

“I absolve you of your sins, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.”

This is literally the single greatest sentence to hear, ever, during your your lifetime. It doesn’t matter how many times you hear it, it’s remains amazing.

It’s never too late, God is always there waiting for us to return to Him. Prayer said for you.

Scared I have the mark of the beast as i know we are in revelations
Remember that you have to freely choose hell in order to get there. God didn’t create you to torture you with his scriptures, force you to sin, and damn you forever in hell.

what about reasurrance?
As long as your heart is beating, it’s never too late…NEVER!!! 👍
The Divine Mercy Chaplet is a powerful thing to pray at this time; Our Lord offered this to St. Faustina, saying that we must never despair of His Mercy.

And most definitely, turn to Our Blessed Mother. She sees you struggling and **she will help you! ** :yup:

My prayers will be with you, and May God give you pardon and peace. :signofcross:
  • Prayers to Jesus and Mary for Mercy
Lord Jesus Christ, eternal and merciful God,
Creator and Redeemer of all, listen to my prayer.

For the love Thou doth bear to those who ask forgiveness,
look on me with mercy, as once Thou didst look on Mary Magdalen,
and on Peter who denied Thee.

Look on me, Lord Jesus Christ, as Thou didst look at the thief on his cross
and on every sinner whom Thou hast ever forgiven.

Look on me, merciful Lord, as Thou didst look on Thy Mother, Mary,
standing in sorrow beneath Thy Cross.

Let me feel in my heart her compassion for Thee,
and let my eyes weep for Thy sorrows, caused by my sinful life.

Call me back from the darkness to my Father’s house, give me a new heart
and a place at Thy side in the banquet Thou hast prepared for me. Amen.

Hail, Mary, my joy, my glory, my heart and my soul!
Thou art all mine through thy mercy, and I am all thine.
But I am not thine completely enough.

Destroy in me all that may be displeasing to God.
Place and cultivate in me everything that is pleasing to thee.
Amen.*

Soul of Christ, make me holy
Body of Christ, be my salvation
Blood of Christ, let me drink your wine
Water flowing from the side of Christ, wash me clean
Passion of Christ, strengthen me
Kind Jesus, hear my prayer
Hide me within your wounds
And keep me close to you
Defend me from the evil enemy
And call me at the hour of my death
To the fellowship of your saints
That I might sing your praise with them
for all eternity. Amen.

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Praying for you…

It’s NEVER too late for you to turn back to God as long as you are alive. I used to worship Satan and God forgave me. There is no sin God will not forgive if we turn back to Him.

KNOW that the Lord has forgiven ALL
sins after Christ offered Himself on the
Cross, all WE need to do is repent and
confess them!!

It is never too late to return to God – Our Loving Father. Praying. . . . Also prayer of apology and thanksgiving because we may forget to say “thank You” to Our Lord for all the blessings He pours on us and we do not even realize it. The thread could also be closed before we know it and I want to get the “thank You” in. 😉 🙂

Act of Hope and Confidence in God*** St. Claude de la Colombiere
:signofcross:
My God,
I believe most firmly that You watch over all who hope in You,
and that we can want for nothing when we rely upon You in all things.
Therefore I am resolved for the future…to cast all my cares upon You.
People may deprive me of worldly goods and status.
Sickness may take from me my strength and the means of serving You.
I may even jeopardize our relationship by sin, but my trust shall never leave me.
I will preserve it to the last moment of my life, and the powers of hell shall seek
…… in vain to grab it from me.
Let others seek happiness in their wealth and in their talents.
Let them trust in the purity of their lives,
the severity of their mortifications,
in the number of their good works,
the enthusiasm of their prayers,
as for me, my Rock and my Refuge, my confidence in you fills me with hope.
For You, my Divine Protector, alone have settled me in hope.
“This confidence can never be vain. No one, who has hoped in God, has
…… ever been confounded.”
I am assured, therefore, of my eternal happiness,
…… for I firmly hope in it and all my hope is in You.
“In You, O loving God, have I hoped: let me never be confounded.”
I know too well that I am weak and changeable. I know the power of
…… temptation against the strongest virtue.
I have seen stars fall and foundations of my world crack;
…… these things do not alarm me.
While I hope in You, I am sheltered from all misfortune,
…… and I am sure that my trust shall endure,
…… for I rely upon You to sustain this unfailing hope.
Finally, I know that my confidence cannot exceed Your generosity, and that I
…… shall never receive less than I have hoped for from You.
Therefore I hope that You will sustain me against my evil inclinations,
…… that You will protect me against the deceitful attacks of the evil one,
…… and that You will cause my weakness to triumph over every hostile force.
I hope that You will never cease to love me and that I shall love You unceasingly.
“In You, O loving God, have I hoped: let me never be confounded.”

St Claude de la Colombiere, pray for us!

Apology and Thanksgiving Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Creator of all and source of all goodness and love,
please look kindly upon us,
as we ask for forgiveness for not giving You thanks.
Please receive our heartfelt apology for the lack of gratitude.
Remind us at all times that You are always worthy of our thanks.

Thank You, Heavenly Father,
for all the graces and blessings
You have bestowed upon us:
our faith and religious heritage;
the Priests who bring us the Sacraments;
our life, food and shelter;
our health, the love we have for one another;
our family and friends.
Thank You for those things You so generously give us
…… and of which we are not even aware.
Dear Father, in Your infinite generosity, please grant us the grace of having
…… less “give me” and more gratitude throughout the coming
…… years so that we may be aware that anything from You is good
…… for You turn the “bad” into blessings for us.
Please Lord, grant us the grace of not forgetting that we can thank You
…… over and over again for the same gift – and if we
…… forget, may our Guardian Angel remind us.
Thank You, Lord.
I Love You, Lord.
Amen… …by Luz María

Let Nothing Disturb You
Let nothing disturb you,
Let nothing frighten you,
All things are passing away:
God never changes.

Patience,
Obtains all things,
Whoever has God
Lacks nothing:
God alone suffices.
