The anniversary of my father’s suicide is this coming Sunday (Father’s Day.) My mom is in the nursing home closer to death every day. My “aunt” Ramona (not blood related, but might as well have been) died last week. I’m facing extreme financial difficulties and being turned away for help everywhere. I’m somehow still not giving up on God, but I’m beginning to think that He just doesn’t like me or something. I know that He loves me, but there are plenty of people whom I love dearly whom I don’t like very much (my half-brother for example.) I need prayer for a renewing of hope and faith, and dealing with all this pain and suffering at once. It is too much for a guy with epilepsy to handle.
 
Praying to the Holy Spirit to give you guidance, direction, strength, fortitude & wisdom in your time of need.
 
God will walk with you through all these crises. I don’t claim to know why as certain times in our lives it seems everything is “piled on”, but I do know there is a God who will support you if you let him.

The important thing is to take it one day at a time. At the end of each day, be sure to thank God for making it through that one day and to give you strength for the next day. The next day when you wake pray for his strength to get you through that day. Repeat the cycle at the end of the day.
