24 has slowly revealed itself to be extremist right wing propaganda imo. Rush Limbugh hanging out with the producers is the cherry on that cake for me as well. Glad I stopped watching during the first season when it became just too absurd to accept all these things happening to one man in a 24 hour time frame.
It’s a television show. It is fiction. Good fiction IMO. Your post sounds paranoid and:whacky: Even if your charge of right-wing propaganda was true, I understand there is plenty of left-wing propaganda to go around on other shows like CSI(of course I wouldn’t know first hand as I don’t watch any other network/cable dramas or what passes for"sit-coms").🙂

It’s a TV show, good grief. As far as “right wing propaganda” does that mean it’s OK for virtually everthing else which is left wing propaganda.

Here’s two, guess the third: (1) Arab “kid across the street” is the same Arab “kid” in a virtually identical role as before in a previous season. (2) lead FBI agent arresting Wayne Palmer’s sister and her Arab boss - in a previous season he forced a military pilot to get him on a base, then killed the pilot, then flew the pilot’s “training mission” - only he changed the mission to shooting down Air Force One.
Now, who’s the third? Anybody?
I’m not buying it. You have some names & sources? The young Arab boy in I believe season 4, his character was Behrooz Araz played by Jonathan Ahdout. I’m trying to find the name of the Arab boy/terrorist in season 6. I don’t remember the other characters being played by the same person either. So who’s the third and some sources please?

Hmm. interesting you would think that. What I find fantastic about the show is precisely that it raises more questions (leaving intentional ambiguity and human tension by representing well conflicting realities) than it does to provide clear answers. This makes for excellent reflection and dialogue. It’s able to use creativity to foster discussions via fiction that we’d never be able to accomplish in the real world of overly politicized, polarized rhetoric.

Excellent observation!:amen:

Since you seem very familiar with Season 4 - actor Ned Vaughn played traitor-pilot Mitch Anderson who shot down Air Force One. Now this season, he just arrested the President’s sister.

The Arab boy in the last episode is played by Kal Penn, who was in (1) Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle; and (2) Van Wilder 2: The Rise of Taj.

Don’t think so. I googled Ned Vaughn. The sites that show a list of his work do indeed show him as being in 4 episodes of 24 in 2005. However no listing of him acting in 24 was shown for 2006 or 2007.

Kal Penn is the young Arab terrorist in this season.

Not sure Google is quite that current with every B-list actor’s career. Nonetheless, please ask your oracle who played the lead FBI arresting agent then - and as you say, names and sources please.

Here’s a link: www.tv.com/24/show/3866/episode_guide.html?season=6&tag=season_dropdown;dropdown;5 .
It lists characters from each episode for season 6 up to 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. The FBI agents listed are played by Scott Williams Winters & Alfred Woodley. No mention of Ned Vaughn. Are you going to tell us who you say the #3 repeat actor is?

Relax. I aint calling for a ban of the show, just that I recognize what its intent is.

I’m glad you recognize it as a terrific show with an intent to be the best intertaining show on tv.

I’m sure thats what you meant…right??

Of course, aimee. I’m sure that’s what was meant… I guess some people just don’t appreciate “our” 24 the way we do…😉

(1) Arab “kid across the street” is the same Arab “kid” in a virtually identical role as before in a previous season.
Ahmed is being played by Kal Penn of “Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle” and a slew of other movie credits.

Johnathan Ahdout played Behrooz Araz from season 4. He also played the son in House of Sand and Fog.

Kal Penn does not show up on any previous cast listings for “24”
(2) lead FBI agent arresting Wayne Palmer’s sister and her Arab boss - in a previous season he forced a military pilot to get him on a base, then killed the pilot, then flew the pilot’s “training mission” - only he changed the mission to shooting down Air Force One.
I remember that pilot guy…and yeah, I could see where they appear to be the same actor but his name is Scott William Winters, and while he’s been in many TV shows, “24” is not listed as one of them in IMDbTVs database. On Wikipedia where they list recurring roles, Mr. Winters is only credited with Season 6.

Wow…check these 2 links out:
imdb.com/name/nm0891224/

imdb.com/name/nm0936001/

and the two do look quite alike!
Now, who’s the third? Anybody?
Give me a lead and I’ll check that one out too. This is fun!

What happened to the “weenie” president from last season? Loved to hate that guy! I wonder if we’ll get an update. Also, is it hard for anyone else to see the white terrorist (the bald guy with black framed glasses) as anyone but Dr. Romano from ER?
