Torch Bearers

DS just went to a refresher training for altar boys at our parish. Items on the list included the boys starting to carry torches during the processional, recessional and during the Gospel reading. They will also be carrying the torches during Stations of the Cross.

I was a little concerned about how much the torches weigh since we have quite a few younger servers, but the boys are all very excited–little pyromaniacs!! I can’t wait to see how things go tomorrow.
