TORONTO, October 31, 2005 (LifeSiteNews.com) - On November 10, 2005, Toronto’s St. Michael’s Cathedral will be holding a fundraiser for an event sponsored by St. Michael’s Catholic Hospital to provide “‘Life with Dignity’ to people affected by HIV/AIDS in the developing world.” However, Catholics and pro-family groups are concerned that the St. Michael’s Hospital fundraising project, called “Angels in Africa”, contravenes the teaching of the Catholic Church and the best health options for people threatened with AIDS by promoting condom usage.

I was thinking something very similar. 👍

This is shocking. Please write:

It is best to send comments by snail mail to the Cardinal, but if you can’t do that then at least email his office.

I’ll get an email address for Msgr Bianco at the Cathedral and posted it later. Edit: I have an email address for Monsignor Bianco at St Michael’s Cathedral which is hosting the Welsh choir which is supporting the pro-condom organization:

Please check in here when you have sent your email. It keeps our spirits up. Thank you.[/email]

i agree 100% , i live in this diocese area and i dont agree with it , we should support the Church in her teachings and laws now more than ever due to the dropping number of faithfull especially amongst teenagers. In my class out of 30 students I am the only religious one with the exception of 2 or 3 that have to practice ( goin to church etc) becasue their parents insist they do. It saddens me and i wonder what state the Church will be in 10 years, now with the divisions withing the Church nothing good can come of this. United we stand, divided we fall . We must be internally strong to fight off the external threats. Thats just my opinion though.

Are you writing to Monsignor Bianco and Cardinal Ambrosic?
