I will pray for you often. May God grant you peace.

Pray: “Dear Lord, if I knew how very wise You are,and how much You love me, I would soon learn to be content with Your holy Will. In my selfishness, I desire a heaven on earth as well as after death. Now I want to accept Your Will in all things. Whether You send me consolation or desolation, let me serve You as You deserve. I shall try my best to impove myself in daily life. After I have done my best, I shall accept the results as Your holy Will. Amen.”

As a fellow convert, I know that you must go through Confession to enter the Church. The Lord has already forgiven you. Now you must learn to trust in Him and forgive yourself.

Michael,

I am very thankful to have you as a brother in Christ, and deeply appreciate your prayers!

This is very helpful for me! I will be taking all of your suggestions and using them.

Thank you!!
Living Water:

Glad to serve and to be of use to you. You also reminded me that I also have some “house cleaning” to do - It’s not exactly easy, esp. since some of it is physical & I’m disabled, but it’s got to be done.

Holy God,
Holy and Mighty One,
Holy Immortal One,
Have mercy on us

Trisagion

But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
upon Him was the chastisement that made us whole,
and with His stripes we are healed.

Isaiah 53:5 RSV 2nd Catholic Ed.

Give ear to my words, O LORD;
give heed to my groaning.
Hearken to the sound of my cry,
my King and my God,
for to you do I pray.
O LORD, in the morning you hear my voice;
in the morning I prepare a sacrifice for you,
and watch.

But I through the abundance of your merciful love
will enter your house,
I will worship toward your holy temple
in the fear of you.
Lead me, O LORD, in your righteousness
because of my enemies;
make your way straight before me.

But let all who take refuge in you rejoice,
let them ever sing for joy;
and do defend them,
that those who love your Name may exult in you.
For you bless the righteous, O LORD;
you cover him with favor as with a shield.

Psalm 5:1-3, 7-8, 11-12 RSV 2nd Catholic Ed.

Your Brother in Christ, Michael

Divine Savior,
transform me into yourself.
May my hands be your hands.
May my tongue be your tongue.
Grant that every faculty of my body
may serve only to glorify you.
Above all, transform my soul and all its powers
that my memory, my will,
and my affections
may be the memory, the will, and the affections of you.
I pray you to destroy in me
all that is not of you.
Grant that I may live
but in you and by you and for you,
that I may truly say with St. Paul,
“I live, now not I,
but Christ lives in me.” Amen.
:amen: Beautiful and so fitting wgholland. I join you in this prayer for living water, and for all.

Oh my goodness. You poor thing! 😦

Please turn your eyes away from yourself and onto the merciful face of Jesus.

You already know your sins. The answer is not in you. It is in Him.

Meditate and pray in front of the Divine Mercy image. Make sure it has the words, “Jesus, I trust in you” under it.

We are all sinners! Not one of us deserve heaven. But with Jesus all things are possible!

Lift up your eyes!

:gopray2:

I pray that God’s love will heal your brokenness. God’s love is bigger than our sins.

Keeping you in prayer, living water. God Bless.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

I strongly encourage anyone to use that 911 prayer!!! It is an incredible 45 minutes!

It was suggested by Fr. Corapi, I got it from earlier in thread…

I am sending it to you as private message. I can’t seem to copy the link and just have file now.

Thank you wgholland, for reminding me. I had meant to download this when MaryAnne first posted it, but got distracted. And MaryAnne, thank you for posting it!

Living Water - I continue to keep you in my prayers. God Bless you all.

Living Water,

You are not alone, there are people I know Christians with simmilar past before conversion. Try to find some Christians to fellowship with who have overcome simmilar issues. It is not always an easy road, but rest assured, as you build a new life on the teachings of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, He will help you to deal with the past and move forward in faith in Him.

I pray for any/all physical/mental/spiritual needs you may have.

In the Name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
