Please pray for me. I am a 37 year old mom of 7 (13,11,9,6,4,2,7mo) I just had a left total hip replacement on Wednesday. My OS said my joint looked awful and the replacement would allow me to run round with my kids again, but I can’t say I was in awful pain. I was supposed to go home today but now my blood pressure is low and my hemoglobin keeps dropping. I am scared something is wrong. I am pretty immobile. I miss my babies!!! I regret doing this - maybe I should have waited!!!

Prayer for Healing

Lord, look upon Cathmom with eyes of mercy. May your healing hand rest upon her, taking away her (excruciating and typical) post-surgical joint pain. May your life-giving powers flow into every cell of her body, promoting healing and curing pain. Loving God, give her courage to get through this really tough part. And teach her that soon, she will be relieved. Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.

:crossrc:

PM me if you want to know about my experience with knee surgery.

Praying for your health & recovery & successful surgical outcome. Praying for your family as well.

Dear St. Giuseppe Moscati, true model of Christian doctors, in the exercise of your medical profession, you always took care of both the body and soul of every patient. Look on us, who have recourse to your heavenly intercession, and obtain for us both physical and spiritual health, and a share in the dispensation of heavenly favors.

Soothe the pains of our suffering people; give comfort to the sick, consolation to the afflicted and hope to the despondent.

May our young people find in you an ideal, our workers an example, the aging a comfort, the dying the hope of eternal salvation.

To all of us be a pattern of industriousness, honesty and charity, so we may comply with our Christian duties and glorify God our Father.

Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

†

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal Cathmomof6. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Cathmomof6’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Heavenly Father, You are the great physician.
Cathmmof6 turns to You in her sickness and
asks for Your healing. Put Your hand upon
her and let health and wholeness flow
into her. Help her remember, in
this time of vulnerability, her utter
dependence on You. She commits
herself to Your loving arms.
Amen

Bless the Lord, O my soul…and forget not all
his benefits: who forgiveth all thine iniquities;
who healeth all thy diseases. (Psalm 103:2-3)

Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed
art thou amongst women, and Blessed is the Fruit of
thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for
us sinners, now and at the hour of our deaths.
Amen

Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on her;
Immaculate heart of Mary, pray for her;
St. Joseph our protector, pray for her.
Amen

Jesus, I believe in you.
Jesus, I hope in you.
Jesus, I love you.

:gopray2:

Remembering you and your family in my daily prayers. God bless, and don’t panic!

**Breathe into me, Holy Spirit,
that my thoughts may all be holy.

Move in me, Holy Spirit,
that my work, too, may be holy.

Attract my heart, Holy Spirit,
that I may love only what is holy.

Strengthen me, Holy Spirit,
that I may defend all that is holy.

Protect me, Holy Spirit,
that I may always be holy.

Amen.**

Praying that the Lord may grant you strength and healing. Also praying for your quick recovery and for your children.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

May God bless you all, you have so much to deal with! I hope they sort these complications out very quickly so that you can get back home. Praying for you and your family.

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father,
and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning,
is now,
and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.

O My Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those who are in most need of Thy mercy. Amen.

Hail, holy Queen, Mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To thee to we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn, then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this, our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.

Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host -
by the Divine Power of God -
thrust into hell satan and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.

REMEMBER, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Praying hard for your speedy recovery. I had my right hip replaced 21 years ago and it was one of the best things I ever did. I was pain free after about 8 weeks and have had no other problems with it. Hang in there and follow your doctor’s advice. I think you’ll be glad you did. Praying for your babies to get their mom home soon.

This was so encouraging. Thank you. I am very excited to run around with my kids and not have to “think” about walking to cover up a limp, but at the same time, I worry about getting it done so young and having to have 2 or 3 revisions in my future. I hope I get at least 20 years before I need a revision.
