I am not sure what has happened to me,

I dont know if it was the near death of my grandfather last week…or the death of my cousin exactly one week to the day after my grandfathers close call

Or if it was the going back and forth about baptizing our baby

Or if it was coming on these boards and pouring out my soul to complete strangers in the hope of finding comfort.

But something happened. Something in me changed, or was rediscovered.

The fear, worry, doubt … all of it… seems to have been lifted. If even only for a moment, I am at peace.

For the *first time, I am actually looking forward to going to church on Sunday. Really genuinely anxiously awaiting going to the house of God to show that I hear him now. It may not be the way I hoped to hear him, but it still makes me feel good.

I want to thank you all for helping me on this journey! I am sure I will stumble often, but I know now that help is not far behind.

God Bless!

Attribute this turning point to Christ our Lord, never to us. For all you know, any responses you got here were actually angels typing God’s love over to you (Heaven has a very progressive messaging service). Whatever causes you to rejoice is of God…

🙂

Thank you Dear Lord! continue to bless Tinkerbell with your grace always, Peace, Carlan

I have only been on this website for a few days, but I am very impressed with this Catholic community. Very kind, knowledgeable and giving.

I have been going through some difficult things in my life right now, and I believe God led me to this site.

It is a blessing. :gopray: I hope to get to know the regular posters over time as I am benefiting from the site.
