I have some questions regarding the Tower of Babel
  1. If God confused the languages, did he also give them different physical characteristics ie. Blacks/Asians/White? Did they scatter after? This is kind of hard to grasph
  2. Is this story and the stories in genesis supposed to be taken literally? I mean, today we wouldnt build a tower to reach the heavens and to reach God. Why did he destroy it then when it is not possible?
  3. Is there any historical proof of this tower?

Lets examine it from the point of view of the New Testament. Does God ever reverse what happened at the tower of Babel? i.e. men who spoke different languages suddenly and miraculously understand what is being spoken by others?
