Anyone seen Toy Story 3? Funnily enough, most people in the cinema that watched were adults. I’d say about 70-80% of them were, which is ironic.
Any thoughts on Toy Story 3? Quite a touching movie
I don’t know about the cinema crowd since I waited for the DVD.Anyone seen Toy Story 3? Funnily enough, most people in the cinema that watched were adults. I’d say about 70-80% of them were, which is ironic.Any thoughts on Toy Story 3? Quite a touching movie

I don’t think it’s weird at all. Many of the adults there probably saw the first movie as a child and “grew up with Andy” so to speak. I was 11 when the first Toy Story came to theaters (1995). My husband and I saw Toy Story 3 on a date night.
Yeah I sort of grew up with Andy as well, although my mom was already in her mid 40’s when she watched the second one. But yeah, both her and me went with my mom to the cinema when the third came out as well. I was born on 1994, therefore the first one already came out 1992 before I was even born; and so i saw the first two episodes at about 2000-2002.I cried like a baby.
Of course it’s not weird at all; I just noticed an interesting observation in the fact that one would normally expect a children’s story to appeal to children only. But the thing is though, you’re right, that it seems the characters had human emotions in which only adults/teenagers will be more able to understand. Also, considering the fact that most children under 10 would not understand some of the toys’ sarcasm, so I’d say this film does indeed appeal to older as wellI don’t think it’s weird at all.
I can totally relate to that. My mom was literally crying her tears out when Andy’s mom gave him the last hug before he left. I will be graduating myself in a year, therefore it reminded her how time flies.admit to being teary eyed watching a movie. Love love that movie.
