Hi, just wondering what is the tradition/background within the Latin church concerning St. Simeon the Prophet/God-receiver?
In the Orthodox tradition, he’s considered one of the elders who helped translated the Septuagint, and lived for hundreds of years by the will of God until he saw the Messiah. Just wondering whether the West had a different tradition.
