One could do that without lying and bearing false witness. If you disagree with how we approach Catholicism, that’s fine, but you should do so honestly. You have lied about the site in the past, and you continue to do so.

You should review the Cardinal Virtues:

1805 Four virtues play a pivotal role and accordingly are called “cardinal”; all the others are grouped around them. They are: prudence, justice, fortitude, and temperance. "If anyone loves righteousness, [Wisdom’s] labors are virtues; for she teaches temperance and prudence, justice, and courage."64

You will notice misrepresentation, lies, and calumny are not among them.
If I or anyone here on this thread that disagrees with you then just put our names on your ignore list and get over it.

I am well aware what calumny is and bearing false witness. There have been times that I have done false witness and have slandered, but in this case I have not I do speak the truth.
Great, then you can show an example of heresy. Previously you claimed “they only recognize the Douay-Rheims as the only English Catholic Bible” which was also an outright lie.
You are just sore because I don’t find your site worthwhile and that I encourage people to not visit your site. I have reviewed your site over and over again. It offends not only me, but those who accept the Novus Ordo mass. I am not misrepresenting, lying or demonstrating calumny.
If you are not lying, then show:
  1. Heresy
  2. That we only recognize the DR as the only English Catholic Bible
You will find proof of neither. In fact, I recommend the Ignatius Bible (RSV-CE) for general reading over the DR because it is easier to read and just as Orthodox. I prefer the DR only because it is a more accurate representation of the Vulgate.

I am sore because you are lying and engaging in calumny. After we get done with these two items, I’ll be happy to hash out your other lies and misrepresentations as well. As for your opinion of the site - whether you like the colors, the TLM, etc., that doesn’t bother me. We’re all entitled to our opinions.

Now, please back up your attacks upon me, my wife, and our site or retract them.

I can’t. I’m only standing up for what is right against what is wrong.

Calumny, lies, and distortion are wrong.

everything under the liturgy section is absolute heresy. I will not retract my statements

To get back to the original question, as to what traditional Catholic books and web sites are recommended, I would encourage the original poster to keep in mind the following key issues:

First, there is a dangerous element within the traditionalist movement that can have a detrimental impact on your faith.

Some traditionalists are held in favor by the Holy See, some are not. For example, sedevecantists believe that the current Pope and bishops are promoting heresy, and reject the Pope outright. Conclavists go so far as to elect their own replacement for the Pope.

The main thread in common within the traditionalist movement is a general rejection of Vatican II. It goes to the very heart of the matter. Traditionalists, generally speaking, want to restore most (if not all) of the liturgical forms and teachings to the days before Vatican II.

I have read all of the claims that traditionalists don’t really reject Vatican II, but then they turn around and bash Vatican II at every turn. They speak out of both sides of their mouth.

What Tobinatorstark is trying to warn you, the original poster, is that there are web sites and traditionalist book stores that are detrimental to your faith, and that you need to exercise caution and due care in reading their material or being persuaded by their dangerous dogma.

There is a real danger that you will be influenced by their erroneous ways, and you need to be very, very careful.

Many traditionalists reject ecumenism, for example. Many reject the Pope as the ultimate authority of the Church. Many reject Vatican II. Some traditionalists actively promote hate speech - (Just Google Bishop Williamson of the SSPX to see what I am talking about).

Without naming names, Tobinatorstark raises a valid point. Beware. Be careful. Not all allegedly “traditional” web sites or supposedly “Catholic” bookstores teach the true faith.

I would be very leery of traditional Catholic web sites and bookstores that are not in full communion with the Pope and have the blessing of the official Catholic Church. Stand guard, beware.

The Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter and Paul (FSSP) has a bookstore at fssp.com. I would stay away from the web sites, and purchase books from the FSSP direct. They are in full communion with the Holy See.

Really?

Like the link to the article by Dietrich von Hildebrand?

The letter from Cardinals Ottaviani and Bacci to His Holiness Pope Paul VI?

The articles from Latin Mass Magazine by Fr. Ripperger, FSSP et al?

The article THE JARGON OF LITURGISTS: BRAIN-WASHING THE FAITHFUL from EWTN?

The articles from Una Voce?

Wow, so you think Dr. von Hildebrand, Cdls. Ottaviani and Bacci, Fr. Ripperger, PhD. FSSP and EWTN are all heretics?

Good to know.

Say, when did you make it to the Episcopacy and earn the right to condemn people for heresy? You should have told me - I would have sent you a card.

Sir, you are either a liar, severely confused about the Faith, or both. I will pray for you.

Thank you!!! I have been to many traditional sites and many claiming to be Catholic. I do endorse Baronius Press, Tan Books and Sancta Missa. I do refuse to be belittled for acceptance of Novus Ordo Mass and Popes John XXIII, Paul VI, John Paul I, John Paul II and Benedict XVI. Obviously there are sites out there that deny Novus Ordo and Popes following Pius XII. I will stand up against them and make everyone beware there are people that are out there deceiving us.

No, you said “everything under the liturgy section is absolute heresy. I will not retract my statements.” That’s some (actually most) of what’s under the liturgy section on the page you cited: fisheaters.com/forcatholics.html

Everyone can go read them for themselves and see I am telling the truth and you are outright lying and engaged in calumny.

Why CA allows you to continue in this way when the evidence is clear that you are lying and have a hatred of traditional Catholics is beyond me.

I am not lying and I have no hatred towards traditional Catholics. I just disapprove of you and you site.

You said everything in the Liturgy section is “absolute heresy.” Those are your words.

Yet, there are articles written by devout Catholics, and even hosted by EWTN.

How are you NOT lying?

Answer that question.

Just as there is dissident liberal filth spewing from the mouths of some who claim to be in full communion with Rome.

Groups like Call To Action putting bad ideas in the heads of our children. “Ministries” attempting to blend pagan spirituality in with Catholic spirituality.

Get your head out of the sand.

What abusive language? He is a liar. He stated that everything in a certain section of FE was heresy.

That is not true.

He has spoken untruthfully ==> Liar.
