Hello

I am Maria Prabhu(dont get confused with my name , I am acually a male) an architect from South India and I love designing Churches and chapels for free, I get a high designing them . I have designed upto 16 churches and church buildings to date and I am glad to be here.I am a traditional catholic and am wondering could I post some of the churches and Altars that I have designed here?

This is an altar I designed for the adoration monastery in South India, its for a group of cloistered nuns.I had the good fortune of interacting with them, it was one of my most happiest moments of my life, they kinda are my my hotline for prayers to God

the perforations in the altar are through which the nuns view the mass but are not seen by the general congregation

I also donated a part of the cost towards the altar 🙂

please move here there is a small but growing community of Catholics from India, and this parish and others would welcome your (name removed by moderator)ut on design for our new church

My wife is currently on H1B status so who knows , God willing we’d probably move to the states by mid this year

I would love to design for you guys if proper design (name removed by moderator)uts are given

Would any of you know where there is a community of Indian Catholics in either the Dallas, Texas area or the New York City area?

Is Traditionalism growing in India?

I have heard that a lot of Catholics have left for Protestant sects and the Health and Wealth Churches, mainly through Catholic Charismatic Renewal exposure and the false ecumenism that some of the CCR groups have adopted, truly sad.

I hope the Traditional liturgy in India helps to foster a return to our Lord in the Catholic Church.
