Thanks very much that was very moving. I did my yacht/cruising training in the scottish hebrides which is a very rough sea, it reminded me of my time there, also of the kindness I met when I landing on isolated islands.

The Monks faith seem to have affected him deeply.

These are the Transalpine Redemptorists. They are affiliated with SSPX, and have the same status as them WRT Rome.
 
I’m not sure what SSPX is or what WRT is.
SSPX = Society of Saint Pius the Tenth - a sizable traditionalist Roman Catholic group. In 1988 the SSPX ordained new bishops without approval causing many to question the status of their communion with Rome.

Sorry about the acronyms – that’s the Army lobe in my brain…

I assumed everyone knew about SSPX, altho’ I shouldn’t have, since I really only learned about them recently myself.
