You can check out your local church or public library, there are three major sets of english translations of the writings of the Church Fathers. 150 or so volumes, published (still) by T&T Clark. (A protestant Publisher, but fairly good translations, with only a slight bias) The Paulist Press also publishes a 90 or so volume set started before the Council by the Newman Press, a very good translation of the major works of the Fathers. Still in Print. Catholic University did a set (don’t know how many volumes) that was translated into english for the layman, with a vocabulary that includes fewer technical theological terms.
My copies of the first two sets are in boxes, so I can’t give you specific volumes, however I do remember that there are several dozen treaties on the subjects you are looking for in them. Try also doing a search for the writings of St. Augustine of Hippo online, as well as St. Basil, and St. John Chrysostom. I’ll also try to make time to peer through a couple of sets on Patrology to narrow down some more writers and writings. Also keep in mind that a sermon or treaties that may not seem by the title to cover OT scriptures, like a sermon on the Incarnation or St. John Chrysosotom’s “On the Priesthood” is replete with references, and commentaries on the OT. Priesthood, and how it foreshadows the Priesthood of Christ and the NT.
