Does anyone know of a resource which lists all of the traditional Catholic schools in the country or internationally? Including elementary, secondary and colleges/universities.

Criteria would be completely in communion with Rome, exclusively offers the Extraordinary Form of the Mass, solid Catholic teaching.

I am particularly interested in high school boarding schools for girls, again, must offer the Extraordinary Form of Mass and be in union with Rome.–Can be international.

My Dad (Joseph A. Esposito) Worked at the Cardinal Newman Society and wrote the first edition, since then, he has moved on to a different Job and I believe that they now have a Second edition out.

Find a way to get a hold of a copy. Schools like Ave Maria University are very Traditional and Present Orthodox Catholic teaching. I’m sure they have lots of Extraordinary form Masses both on and off Campus. Its pretty strict too. In the dress code, Female Employees cannot wear pants. Skirts only unless they are traveling.:eek:

Both of these schools are a dying breed. They obviously must be extremely expensive because of their obscurity. Both look rather interesting. It does seem that both do offer a rather traditional take on the faith, which is not a bad thing unless these schools teach an overly critical view of the post Vatican II church. It would be Ideal if these schools maintained the beauty and timelessness of tradition, while still maintaining charitable views towards those who do not have the same affection towards those traditions.
 
You might want to keep an eye on the regularization of the SSPX. With that criterion fulfilled, the SSPX has a school in Syracuse,NY (bvmacademy.net) (K-12) that accepts both boy and girl boarders and the Dominican Nuns have a girls boarding school in Massena, NY (K-12).
 
My children go to one of the parish schools run by the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia out of Nashville.

The Mass they attend will be whatever the parish they are attached to offeres but the religious training the children will get will be difficult to top. The kids who go on to the local Catholic High Schools in our area say after being trained by the Sisters, going to religion class at the high school is like going back to the fourth grade. The Dominican Sisters are just that good.

My daughters get taken to confession at least monthy, go to first friday adoration with benediction, and the entire school prays a decade of the rosary every morning. The sisters run a two year chastity curriculem for 7th and 8th graders based off of Bl. Pope John Paul II’s Theology of the Body. They seperate the boys and girls and pull no punches with these kids, speaking to them in crystal clear language about sex, chastity, self respect and what it means to remain pure.

Again, the form of Mass will be according to the parish to which the school is attached. If the Ordinary Form isn’t a show stopper, then your children will get an awsome religious education from a group of devout, habited, holy and pure Sisters.
