Looks like a good time. Those churches were very beautiful, great vid-

Maybe extend the quote in the very beginning a few seconds (unless I’m a slow reader lol)
👍

That was a beautiful video. Good job. I wish more people would see it. What I found most beautiful about it, besides the EF, which I have always liked, is the fact that the congregation was a composite of people with veils and without, in shorts, skirts, jeans, T-shirts, shirts and blouses and there was a wonderful spirit of prayer and reverence.

It goes to show us that some of our arguments are not always as valid as we think. Reverence is often more dependent on the state of the soul than on the state of the body.

Congratulations on making a beautiful video. It made me wish I had been there.

Thanks everyone! Please link this video to anywhere you think is proper. I want to spread the message of the pilgrimage to everyone.

God bless

The FSSP deserves this kind of positive publicity. They’re a wonderful group and they don’t get enough attention from the media. Most people don’t know that they’re around. We have two chapels in our diocese run by four of them. They are wonderful guys.

We often invite them to share with our community, even if it’s just for a game of soccer or basketball. We can’t really invite them to dinner, since we can’t afford to feed them. But we always have some nice juice and cookies at our games. They love coming over, because they don’t have much of a community life, since they are secular priests.

I have a request in to our major superor to allow them to celebrate mass for us one day. I’m waiting for the summer to be over. Maybe we’ll get permission. They have agreed to do it. But we have to get them preaching faculties inside our house. When our superior gets back, I’m sure that he will grant them the preaching faculties for a day. We all like them very much. They are very humble men and some of them have a wicked sense of humor.

I would’ve leeerved to go on the pilgrimage. 🙂 Thanx for sharing.

Question: where’s all their gear (tents, food et al), while they’re walking? Did someone drive it from spot to spot? That’s cheating!!! 😃

Like the great, ancient Chartres pilgrimage in France, the baggage is loaded onto trucks and transported to the campsite.

bishop warns Catholics about the reformed Catholic churches. does anyone know anything about this group?
The reformed Catholics are a very strange blend of things the subscribe to the following:
  1. EF mass
  2. Married clergy
  3. Sedevacantism
  4. Divorce and remarriage
  5. Denial of religious life (religious brothers and sisters)
  6. You only need priests and bishops
  7. Elected bishops
I don’t really understand their origin. They have some elements that are similar to SSPX, Old Catholics, Episcopalian, and Evangelicals. My take is that it is the work of the evil one. They have taken what people constituents of each group like and they put it together. My guess, only a guess, is that they tried to get as big an audience as possible. But in fact, they are too obvious to those who know Catholicism and Protestantism well.

thanks.
i must agree with you. Catholics are here for a big fight. counterfeit all around. the devil is really trying to steal God’s people away from the True God. i just wish priests were more aware of what is going around us and instead of those poor homilies they use the time to make all Catholics aware of what is going. if Catholics received from the priests they would believe and no one would steal them away. that is what is wrong, priests do not warns Catholics and they are easily target.
