Traditional Catholic Websites

I noticed on the forum there are warnings of certain websites that are traditional Catholic but are in opposition to the Catholic church or lead you in that direction and I am grateful for the warning. I think sometimes they are called ultra-traditional.

What I am wondering is could anyone suggest some traditional Catholic websites that are in line with the Magisterium. Some that help guide and teach the richness of the Catholic church’s traditions without misleading you. I am trying to learn and also want to teach my family in a more traditional way.

It seems like when you delve into the traditions of the Catholic church it becomes so much of a way of life rather than just something on Sundays and I want to learn more.

Of course, I have learned a lot here at this forum. It is very helpful and I am very glad for it.
 
www.wdtprs.com This is a site run by a Father John Zuhlsdorf, specifically a blog. He is a rather strong devotee of the traditions of the Church and writes about them extensively. However, he also blogs about the Church in general.

www.newliturgicalmovement.org This is a site run by a group of people that deals with liturgical matters, music, architecture, etc. This is somewhat more academic in nature but is still very accessible in style.

www.sanctamissa.org This is a site run by the Canons Regular of St. John Cantius, which is a parish church of the Archdiocese of Chicago. This site specifically deals with the Extraordinary Form of Mass with various resources and is very educational.

www.chantcafe.com This is about Catholic music, specifically about restoring it to glory, although there are occasional articles about other subjects, but they are almost always liturgical in subject. This is also a very educational site and is somewhat between WDTPRS and NLM in academic nature. It is a blog and is associated with the following site.

www.musicasacra.com This is a site about Catholic music in general, and is not a blog. There are many free resources on this site.
 
Not explicitly traditional, but newadvent.org/ has links to news and blog articles that are always orthodox, as well as important resources such as the 1917 Catholic Encyclopaedia, Aquinas’s Summa Theologica, hundreds of letters and other documents from the Fathers of the Church, decrees of the early Councils, and the complete Bible in Greek, English, and Latin. The “library” for Sacred Tradition.

Otherwise, YoungTradCath gave a pretty good list.

For family traditions, devotional material, etc etc, Our Lady of the Rosary Library is a great one (olrl.org). They have a few peices that are quite critical of the new mass, but nothing I’ve seen in violation of Canon 212.3.

Hands down, the remnant (remnantnewspaper.com) is the best for news. Some of their articles make it clear they are sympathetic to the SSPX’s situation but not in any way that violates church teaching (Canon 212.3).
