I, too, am a convert…elsewhere on this site I have talked about being a raised to be a weapon to “protect souls from the Catholic Church”. Not to pick on anyone, but the disturbing thing about ttraditionalism is that it leads to strife (and, eventually, Protestantism). There is a huge difference between (for instance) practicing fasting and abstinence even outside of Lent, as a personal devotion, and (for instance) defiantly standing during the Eucharistic Prayer because you don’t think you have to kneel for anybody. When in doubt, be led by the magisterium.
