When people refer to Traditional Catholicism in these forums or related topics(Latin Mass for instance or the Latin Vulgate’s bible(Douay Rheims Bible) ) do they refer to practices,traditions and a religion pre Second Vatican Council or simply a more “conservative” form or practice of Catholicism. “Traditional” usually leans toward classic pre-Vatican II liturgy/practice, like Extraordinary Form of the mass, etc.

Traditional Catholicism on this forum typically means a preference for some traditions and practices that of the Church prior to the Second Vatican Council. It would be wrong to say that they practice a different religion. Those adherents simply have a stylistic preference.

Unless a person defines the terms they use it is unclear what they might mean.

A Traditionalist is someone who makes their own religion and calls it “Catholic”. A traditional Catholic, as has been stated, is usually one who legitimately worships through the Tridentine Mass.
