I’m very pleased that our FSSP Parish will be celebrating the Traditional 3 Christmas Masses - Midnight Mass, Dawn Mass, and Christmas Day Mass. This is a first for me. Question: Does one only receive Holy Communion once, say at the Midnight Mass, and just refrain from receiving for the other two Masses? I think Canon Law allows one to receive twice in an ordinary day and three times only in danger of death. What is the norm in this case? Thanks.

Something similar came up in another [thread=739458]thread[/thread], and [post=10160166]personally, I[/post] find the question rather interesting. As I said in that thread, it seems to me that this would make for a good dubium. Have you asked the FSSP priest about it? It could well be that this question has been dealt with by the SCR (or its successor), and if so, I’d love to know the result.

I’ll do some deeper digging to see what I can find.

You are so lucky. It would be wonderful if all churches did and that all Masses were well attended.
