Can anyone make a list stating which parishes around Sydney or NSW as a whole hold to traditional mass such as the Latin mass etc. Thanks. 🙂

Hello Guy,

Where in NSW are you thinking? I’ll make a short list of the places that I know of.

Sydney

The main Latin Mass community is at the Maternal Heart of Mary Chapel in Lewisham. It is run by the FSSP. Link here.

There is a weekly Mass in the Cathedral, on a week day, though I cannot remember which day! There are some very good diocesan priests who offer the Mass in Sydney too! There is frequently a Mass at St Benedict’s, Broadway too.

Parramatta

The FSSP is also in Parramatta diocese, at Giraween and at Lawson. Have a look at this page here. There is a daily Mass in Doonside Parish too - I think there is a Sunday Mass as well.

Wagga Wagga
There is a weekly Sunday Mass in Wagga Wagga at Mt Erin Chapel. I think Mass is at 11am. There is also a weekly Mass in Albury, though I am not quite sure where. There are a lot of good, holy priests in Wagga Wagga - it’s the Catholic capital of Australia!

Hope this has been of some help!
