Is there a guide on the internet to the structure of the Offices of the day, like what prayers and psalms are said? I know the names of the offices, but I don’t know what happens during them.
I already know about breviary.com. I would like something explaining it to someone who does not know what is going on.
Hey! I don’t know if you meant “breviary.net” when you typed “breviary.com”, but breviary.net, although a group separated from the Church, does give a good ordinarium to praying the Divine Office. Another resource is, of course, “FSSP.com” where you can order a How To on praying the Divine Office. I have been praying the Divine Office in the 1962 tradition since 1997. It can be difficult in that, like today, where I am entering Lent preparation as today is Septuagesima Sunday, but in the ordinary rite it is the 5th Sunday.
