Is anyone aware of traditional orders of women religious that use the EF exclusively or at least on a regular basis? Thanks!
 
I know that there are a number of Carmelite monasteries that have the EF on a regular basis. I know for sure the ones in Jefferson City, MO, and Des Plaines, IL have them said. I’m sure there are others, too.

You may want to be careful with them. They don’t seem to in communion with the the Diocese of Colorado Springs and they don’t seem to belong to any established Carmelite order. It might be wise to contact the diocese and inquire about their status.
 
There are more in France than in the US. Are you only looking for American convents?

I appreciate the person who made me aware of the one order which is associated with sedevacanists. I was looking for American religious orders in full communion with the Holy Father.

It is good to know that religious orders still exist which use only the EF. I do wonder if there are any active orders like this, though, since they mostly seem to be cloistered or at least contemplative.

I think with Benedict XVI’s clear love of and appreciation and support for the EF, we’ll start seeing more orders like this. Praise God that traditional orders are growing and “spirit of Vatican II” orders are disappearing!

Yes, they are the female counterpart to the Transalpine Redemptorists – Sons of the Most Holy Redeemer. The F.Ss.R. is not part of the Redemptorist (C.Ss.R.) order but it is independent. They were formerly associated with the SSPX but have now left and reconciled with the Holy See. They, however, are still not canonically erect, as far as I am aware but they are in a better position to do so now when they will eventually come under a bishop who is good standing with Rome. There’s the Saint Benedict Centre in Still River, Massachusetts, www.saintbenedict.com. They are a community of Religious Sisters and Brothers who are in full communion with Holy Mother Church! They say the EF exclusively, and are very orthodox!

Both Still River and Richmond branches of the Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary are now reconciled with their local bishops. However, how orthodox you believe them to be depends on how orthodox you believe Feeneyism to be.

Thanks for the continued answers. I have to say it’s a little disconcerting to see how many of the very traditional orders also aren’t entirely in communion with the Holy Father. I hope we will see that changing (especially considering he is the Pope of Christian unity), as well as more of the current orders returning to their traditional roots.
