My baby was baptised on sunday after Mass in the traditional rite. It was beautiful and so reverent. Every section of the rite had so much depth and meaning.
It was agreed that I (mother) would hold the baby in case he was fidgeting and crying. But he didn’t - not a sound during the entire ceremony
I can’t tell you how moved and happy and proud I was that day.
Quite a few of the parishioners stayed for the ceremony, one of the reasons being that this was the first baptism in our traditional community ever. (The TLM has been said there for about 8 years). It’s wonderful that there is now a new generation of Catholics that will have an opportunity to be brought up in the faith with solid teaching and tradition once again.
I just wanted to share this happy occasion with you
