Does anyone know of any online Catholic store that sells “traditional” vestments? I’m looking, in particular, for a reversible stole - violet/white.

If you or someone you know is handy with a needle and thread (and a sewing machine) you might have a look here. 🙂

Well, Almy has this one, but I don’t think it shouts “traditional”. It certainly lacks the embellishments most preaching stoles have.

Hm, that reminds me - I just might ask the sisters of the FFI to make one. I’d like to offer it as a present to the Jesuit who is learning the EF and will be Baptising our duaghter 🙂

A lot depends on how much money you have to spend. I have purchased several sets through Ebay (Ackerman vestments) the run between $150.00 and $300.00 per 5 piece set. They are made in Poland and are pretty fair quality for the parish on a low budget. Or you can really get spendy and pay up to $1500 per set ( but the quality is superb). shop around.
