Traditionalists in Massachusetts & New Hampshire, I need your help, thank you

Hi!

Are there any traditional Churches, Parishes, TLM in Massachusetts and New Hampshire
that you would recommend?
Which ones do you like most?
Are there a lot of traditionalists in these two states?
I noticed that there are some Churches that have closed in Massachusetts, is that
due to law suits or something else?
Any information on how the FAITH is doing in these two states would really be appreciated!🙂

I live in NH. Not sure how much help I can be. I will be confirmed this Easter. I know of some churches in the state, but I guess you’d have to tell me how traditionalist you’d like ANd how far you’ll travel. Make sense?

I would really love to know everything that is out there. The more traditional the better!
And even though I would love to have a Church close to home, I will travel as far as I have to, to get to the right Mass.
So, I appreciate any information you can provide me with.

I guess my first question would have to be where you live. I live in the Monadnock region of nh.

Are there a lot of people in your Church community?
I am looking for a traditional community of practicing Catholics?

Hi Megan7:

I attend Mary Immaculate of Lourdes church on Elliot Street in Newton, MA (take route 9 east to Elliot St). They have a 12 noon tridentine mass. The mass, which is a sung mass, is well-attended. Most women wear a mantilla, although not all. The mass is led by Father Higgins.

Another traditional church is led by Society of Pope Pius X and it is located in the basement of an office building in Woburn, MA. I forget the address. This mass is shorter (1 hr. vs. 1 1/2 hrs.). My sense is that it is VERY traditional.

Hi I’m in Massachusetts. I attend and help with the Latin Mass at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston’s South End. You need to google 75 Union Park to get the right directions. We have a number of priests who say Mass for us. The rector of the Cathedral is Fr. Kevin O’Leary and is very supportive of us.

I also run the Una Voce Boston website www.uvboston.org You can find local Masses and times there. For New Hampshire Una Voce website is unavocenh.com or North of Boston try latinmassnorth.com

Sorry, i never answered this. I’m really not sure what you mean by traditional practicing Catholic. I guess my little St. patrick’s may not meet your needs, because it sounds like you want Latin, lots of like-minded people. I don’t think this is what you’re talking about. Like someone else says, the big city would have more options for you.

Hee, seconded on MIoL, which I attend with my parents. Father Charles Higgins is a phenomenally good priest with a lot of quiet charisma.
