Tradition does not change because it is the “handing down” from generation to generation all that the Church has and is.
The Church is constantly expressing more fully what the content of Tradition is. From time to time, dogmas or doctrines may be defined which were not previously defined. This does not mean that they are newly revealed but merely that the Church is clarifying the status of something that is in Tradition.
