Recently I have attended a Baptist Ministers class on where the Bible came from.He brought up the fact that there were other Christian religious groups during the time after Jesus’ death.and I know that was true.But he brought up the Anabaptists and the book “Trail of Blood” and said it was a very good book. and I think he was tryin to insinuate some kind of connection.If Im not mistaken didnt the author JM Carroll recant his story and admit he couldnt trace the Baptists back to the early days?
 
That has been my understanding, but I don’t have the reference for the work in which he recanted.
