Hi ,

I want to transfer to the Melkite Church. However there is no melkite church in my city … so I need to wait until I move near one. meanwhile I would want to learn more about the melkite liturgy and their major prayers, feasts, and tradition that I should learn by heart in order to prepare myself … can anyone help me by providing me with a website that would teach this things ?

if you’re able to, you can attend another Eastern Catholic parish like the Ukrainians, or Byzantines (Ruthenians), and when you do the process they’ll let you switch to the Melkites. I know of several people who attended and still now go to Ukrainian parishes but when they did the ritual change actually joined the Byzantines because culturally the Byzantines, being Americanized and English speaking, was for them a better fit
