Transgenderism and the Church

The 2014 Annual Conference for the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors, held at Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California.

As secular culture continues to promote transgenderism, popularized by the transformation of Bruce Jenner into Caitlyn, a group of Christians counselors will be tackling transgender issues and how the church responds next month at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.

“We wanted to do this conference because we saw that the issue of transgender was one that was getting a great deal of attention in the culture, but not understood well from a Christian perspective,” said Association of Certified Biblical Counselors Executive Director Heath Lambert to The Christian Post.

God doesn’t make mistakes.

God made males and females. Anything else is a perversion of what God created.

is there not deep soul/pysch issues with people who want to deny the body God gave them.

Is it not an offense against “thou shalt not kill” to do surgery to mess around with your body parts?

Wouldn’t manipulating/destroying sexual organs essentially be killing part of your body?

Serious self hatred involved? - due to what?

awol father, mother, attachment issues, sexually abused & list goes on… What caused it?

First solve the soul problems, then the emotional problems, hopefully get these people started on the lifelong road to healing.

They are in a treacherous, deep hole very hard to get out of without Christ Jesus
