Transition Integrity Project Founder Suggested ‘Military Coup’ Against Trump Days After Inauguration

Shortly after President Donald Trump’s 2016 inauguration, a co-founder of the Transition Integrity Project (TIP), a group that recently “war-gamed” potential outcomes of the 2020 elections and transition, outlined varying ways to oust Trump including declaring him mentally unfit and carrying out a military coup.

Garnering lots of media attention in recent days, TIP co-founder Rosa Brooks has written numerous op-eds summarizing TIP’s 22-page report, which concluded that anything less than a Biden-Harris landslide will spark catastrophe, including “violence in the streets” and a “constitutional impasse.”

Despite the group’s official non-partisan claim, Brooks’ presence implies otherwise.

Just days after President Trump’s inauguration, Brooks penned an article advocating for his swift removal from office, even going so far as to suggest the military not follow orders. . . .

. . . Writing in Foreign Policy magazine only ten days after President Trump’s inauguration, Brooks suggested four different ways of ridding the new president.

TIP was formed in late 2019 and comprises over 100 leading experts and officials, mostly Democrats and anti-Trump Republicans, including former RNC chair Michael Steele, Bill Kristol, former Clinton aide John Podesta, and former DNC interim chair Donna Brazile. . .

How would you even get the military on board? Trump doesn’t seem like the kind of president they would want to oust.

I’m not surprised. The minute the election results were announced, a whole bunch of people went into overdrive trying to think of ways to prevent Trump from even being inaugurated. It was total weirdness. I actually wondered if some kind of “Seven Days in May” coup scenario might not transpire.

The article in Foreign Policy actually does not talk about a military coup, unless I saw an abbreviated version. Entitled “3 ways to remove…” it describes
  1. waiting for Nov. 2020.
  1. Impeachment.
  1. 25th Amendment.
The article does begin by talking about 4 ways, even though it is titled “3 ways…” If military coup was the 4th, it is unmentioned in the version I found.

She has written on “failed states” and their recovery, so it is not unexpected that she would discuss scenarios in the event of a failed election.

What do you think should be done if a Manchurian candidate, ie someone planted by an adversarial government, were to be “elected”?

In our report on Never Trump State Department official George Kent, Revolver News first drew attention to the ominous similarities between the strategies and tactics the United States government employs in so-called “Color Revolutions” and the coordinated efforts of government bureaucrats, NGOs, and the media to oust President Trump.

Our recent follow-up to this initial report focused specifically on a shadowy, George Soros linked group called the Transition Integrity Project (TIP), which convened “war games” exercises suggesting the likelihood of a “contested election scenario,” and of ensuing chaos should President Trump refuse to leave office. We further showed how these “contested election” scenarios we are hearing so much about play perfectly into the Color Revolution framework sketched out Revolver News’ first installment in the Color Revolution series.

This third installment of Revolver News ‘ series exposing the Color Revolution against Trump will focus on one quiet and indeed mostly overlooked participant in the Transition Integrity Project’s biased election “war games” exercise—a man by the name of Norm Eisen.

As the man who implemented the David Brock blueprint for suing the President into paralysis and his allies into bankruptcy, who helped mainstream and amplify the Russia Hoax, who drafted 10 articles of impeachment for the Democrats a full month before President Trump ever called the Ukraine President in 2018 , who personally served as special counsel litigating the Ukraine impeachment, who created a template for Internet censorship of world leaders and a handbook for mass mobilizing racial justice protesters to overturn democratic election results, there is perhaps no man alive with a more decorated resume for plots against President Trump.

Same thing when Obama was elected. Obama Derangement Syndrome ran rampant.

There are crazy people all the way up and down the political spectrum. I don’t really consider this “news.”

I didn’t notice it so much for Obama, probably because I knew exactly one person out of the hundreds I encounter who had a strong objection to him. I knew a number of people who had a mild objection to him, or who voted Republican because they always vote Republican regardless of who the Democrat is that’s running, but very few who fell into the “derangement” category.

With Trump, unfortunately a huge percentage of my normally mild-mannered friends and acquaintances suddently became “deranged”. Some of them regarded the man as a personal threat, which I could understand if they were, say, immigrants here with some kind of questionable or revokable status, but we’re talking about people born in the USA who were not at risk of being deported or anything. They seemed to think they would automatically become victims of violent oppression the minute the man took office. One of them stopped speaking to me because I tried to nicely suggest they should calm down.

There was one guy out there who tried to argue Obama wasn’t even born in this country.

Before Obama was even elected, McCain corrected a woman who claimed Obama was evil and a muslim.

For that matter, there are those out there trying to start a Biden Derangement syndrome, and a Harris derangement syndrome. They are evil socialists who are trying to destroy the country.

And they are doing this while Trump is actively trying to wipe out the country! (who said Trump Derangement syndrome exists. It is not derangement if it is true!)

Demonization of an opponent goes back a long way. It certainly did not start with people opposing Trump. “History is written by the winners” is how historians deal with it.

And the number of anti-Semitic Hate Crimes went thru the roof immediately after the election.

And after Trump has left office, the historians will not be kind to Trump.

As I reported last week, a cabal of Democrats and NeverTrump Republicans are plotting a post-election civil war of sorts to make sure Joe Biden assumes the presidency even if Donald Trump legitimately wins. “It’s insurrection,” President Trump said on Fox News last week when asked about the widely-circulated plan. “We’ll put them down very quickly if they do that.”

Let’s hope. A document released last month by the Transition Integrity Project, a headfake name to give the depraved group the appearance of decency, is a shocking battle plan that would plunge the country into more chaos. The same agitators on the Left and NeverTrump Right who’ve stoked nonstop political upheaval over the past four years will exploit our current instability to throw the election to the Democrats.

But this is more than the far-fetched hallucinations of political outcasts. The mayhem they’ve been war-gaming will be heavily funded by a number of Trump-hating billionaires, and those people have no intention of losing out on their investment.

The mostly behind-the-scenes attempt between Election Day and Inauguration Day to prevent Donald Trump from taking office the first time—one that miraculously failed despite help from the media and the most powerful government agencies in the world—will go public in 2020. And instead of help from James Comey, Jim Clapper, or John Brennan, the 2020 version will be bolstered by the likes of George Soros, Tom Steyer, Pierre Omidyar, a member of the Rupert Murdoch family, and Big Tech titans among others.

One of the co-founders of the Transition Integrity Project is Rosa Brooks. The Georgetown law professor and Obama Administration alum is a former counsel and board member for the Open Society Foundation, created in 1993 by George Soros. The foundation is a massive donor to hundreds of left-wing causes around the world; in July, Open Society Foundation announced a five-year, $150 million investment in “racial justice” groups including Black Lives Matter.

In 2018, Soros’ two largest foundations reported more than $14 billion in assets.

Trump is the most pro Israel POTUS ever.He has done more for peace relations than any other president. If anti Semitic attacks went up the minute he was elected,it was for much the same reason we are dealing with all the rioting and destruction n our cities currently. All in pro test of Trump they want him out because he gets things done and means business.Period

I’m one of those people who are traditionally conservative but the violent aversion to Trump is difficult to actually put into exact words. In a deep place I know he is not all he appears to people and not in a good way. To some he is a hero. To some he is an inarticulate, outrageous incompetent. But to myself and many others, there’s something else that makes it impossible to vote for him. Only time will put that into perspective but it’s in my opinion a valid sensation.
