Depends on how you define human. I see Homo sapiens (us) as humans and no other hominid would qualify. However, there are transitionals in the developmental history of the hominids that ultimately became H. sapiens. Those are found in the site you linked to.

Many transitional fossls have been found. That webpage was last updated in 1997. Since then we have found Tiktaalik rosaea and Darwinius masillae to name but two.

As to human transitionals, you need to read the webpage you referenced more closely. It lists Australopithecus ramidus, Australopithecus afarensis, Australopithecus africanus, Homo habilis, Homo erectus, Archaic Homo sapiens and Homo sapiens.

These show a sequence of increased adaptation for bipedal walking, decreased adaptation for arboreal life, increasing brain size and decreasing tooth size. The boundary between Homo and Australopithecus is set at 600 cc average brain size. Anything smaller is an Australopithecus while anything larger is Homo. Our average is about 1400 cc. As an aside, Neanderthals had an average brain size of 1600 cc, larger than ours.

There is a separate webpage specifically on Human evolution on the talkorigins site: talkorigins.org/faqs/homs/ That page was last updated this year so it has more up to date data than the one you initially referenced and covers the specific subject in a lot more detail.

Just curious, how would this (if true) affect the Christian faith, any more than finding a new species of butterfly?
