You said he was sacrificed once for all.Originally Posted by JacobG

The Bible tells us that His sacrifice was once-for-all. If Romans 6:9,10 and Hebrews 9:25-28 says he is no more offered in sacrifice, then how do you reconcile that with your church’s teaching?
Where did I tell you so?
The verse says He dies no more, He died once;Where does the Scriptures support this view? The verses I stated above says Christ is** no more offered in sacrifice.**
Romans 6 9 10 9 Knowing that Christ rising again from the dead, dieth now no more, death shall no more have dominion over him. 10 For in that he died to sin, he died once; but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God:
Hebrews 9 25 28 25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holies, every year with the blood of others: …
And again [above] He dies but once.
Why do you think He dies again?
If His once-for-all sacrifice was not a single continuous sacrifice it could not help you.
Lets say, for example, a man died three thousand years ago on 9 July at 2.25 pm GMT.
At his death, he said, everyone would receive a million dollars.
So at-the-moment of his death everyone received a million dollars.
But, you were born 3000 years after the-moment-of his death, you were not there at his death, and so you cannot collect the million dollars he offered at his death.
Unless, and this bit is important, the at-his-death quality was somehow preserved in time, so that now you, even though you are born 3000 years after his death are still present at his death and can legitimately receive your million dollars.
The man can do this at his death because the man is eternal, his death in that sense is eternally present for everyone, so that, everyone can receive their million dollars.
He died once and his sacrificial death is ever-present to everyone who has ever lived. Otherwise only those immediately present at the moment of his death could benefit.
His sacrifice is thus a continuous sacrifice from our perspective. He died once, his sacrifice is continuous in time, as it is eternal in heaven.
