In some schools of thought, the Tree of Life has Knowledge, Justice and Lovingkindness;
I have mention only three.

Does the Knowledge, Justice, and Lovingkindness drop seeds from the Tree of Life into the soil of my soul–a garden?

As in our rational nature, our reason naturally conceives conceptions of ideas. Those ideas develop more “fruit” or produce. Thus the sciences and technology are “born.”

Does the Tree of Life’s seed conceive in us Knowledge, Justice and Lovingkindness?

Very nice!

The Tree of Life is, in my understanding, a Messianic symbol of old. The “seed” for us is the Word of Christ, who said: “I am the Life” and “I am the true vine”.

And the fruits of that seed are fruits of wisdom, including the ones you mention - though each of them, individually, has incredibly profound meanings.

The Christological interpretation is that the Tree of Life ultimately symbolizes Jesus. This is tree is mentioned in the book of Revelation, and that interpretation is given there, as I seem to recall.

Jesus is the ultimate of the virtues you mention.

We do not often hear about the second mention of the tree of life, after the fall. (Gen.3, 22)

*Then the Lord God said, “So now man has become lilke one of us, knowing good and evil. Now let him not extend his hand and pick from the tree of life **lest he eat and live for ever.” ***

Before the fall, our first parents enjoyed immortality, symbolized by the tree of life. After the fall, this privilege was taken from them. Of course, Jesus can be compared to the tree of life because he said, " I am the way, the truth and the life." His death and resurrection earned life eternal for all who believe in Him.

Have you ever thought of the tree of life this way?

Yes I have.

I have read many of the Fathers and saints such as Bonaventure that make a great deal of comments about Jesus as the Tree of Life.

What really got me praying about it is the passages about wisdom that says: “Wisdom is a tree of life.”

The Pope did not address this directly in his book The Theology of History, but mentioned the trees having their seeds within their fruit.

That is when it hit me: wisdom is a seed from the fruit of the Tree of Life.

God is the Gardener.

We are the soil.

The Tree of Life drops its fruit into our soul, God’s garden.

The parable of the sower and the seed.

The creation accounts all develop this thought.

The Tree of Life grows in the midst of the garden.

The Tree of Life “hangs down from heaven” dropping its seeds into our soul.

Well, I hope I do not sound heretical.

I am confident that this is correct.

I will change my opinion if it isn’t.

This all makes sense as so many analogies that help us understand the way our spiritual life progresses. Someone could find other analogies that are equally useful.

Also God only told Adam not to eat from tree of the knowledge of good and evil. There was no restriction from eating from the tree of life. I wonder if they ate from it?

Jesus clearly taught: “My food is to do the will of My Father.”

I believe, I hope I am correct, that the Tree of Life is God’s Will or Love for and of us.

If I am incorrect, I will quickly change my ideas.
