Trespassing grave matter??

Well today I was practicing lacrosse by bouncing a ball off of a wall in my side yard. While I was doing this I missed the ball which happens time to time and it falls in my neighbors shrubbery. But this time I missed and it bounced into some of their plants and stopped rolling under one of their “leafy” plants. When I reached to grab it I tore off some of the plant accidentally. It wasn’t a lot of the plant it was about half of one of the many leaf things. I feel like this is a ridiculous thing to ask and I am scrupulous, but could that be grave matter?

Leaves, unless you are smoking them, are not grave matter.
