I was under the impression that the Eucharistic Sacrifice was an offering to God, not to a slice of the Theotokos.

At this particular Mass the Eucharistic Sacrifice is an offering to God in a special way through the prayers of the Immaculate Heart of Mary for particular intentions of reparation.
