*Pro Tridentina *(Malta) has just celebrated its sixth anniversary of its foundation (6 August 2007). Its main aim is the promotion and dissemination of the Extraordinary Form of the Mass in the Archdiocese of Malta and the Diocese of Gozo, as endorsed by the motu proprio Summorum Pontificum promulgated by Pope Benedict XVI (2007) and in the Instruction Universae Ecclesiae (2011).

This goes hand in hand with what the Second Vatican Council stated in the Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy Sacrosanctum Concilium of 1963:

Linguae latinae usus, salvo particulari iure, in ritibus latinis servetur.

In the coming weeks / months any notices about Tridentine Masses will be posted here:

Should any of you know about TLM in Malta, it would be appreciated if a message is sent to me. Details can also be posted here.

Thanks in advance and God bless!

Of course Latin can be used for the entirety of the Ordinary Form Mass as well. I know a few monasteries where that is the case, complete with Gregorian chant.

Right. Jubilate Deo was supposed to be the MINIMUM amount of Latin in each parish. JD was issued by the same Pope who allowed for vernacular in the liturgy.
